Zorua (ゾロア) is a Dark-type Pokémon and the pre-evolution of Zoroark. It is a Generation V Pokémon and it will appear in the upcoming Pokémon Black and White games. It has the ability Illusion. To obtain Zorua in Black and White, you have to trade Celebi over from the movie 13. It will be at level 10 and has the moves Leer, Scratch, Pursuit, Fake Tears and the new one Trickery. Zorua evolves into Zoroark at level 30.
Appearance
Zorua is a fox-like Pokémon, mainly slate-gray in coloration with red and black accents on its head and feet. Zorua's ears are triangular with dark insides, and it has a large, whorled scruff of fur on its head, tipped with red coloration. Its eyes appear to possess no pupils, and its eyelids and circular "eyebrow" markings are red. Zorua possesses a ruff of black fur around its neck, and limbs tipped with red. Its tail is bushy, and when it opens its mouth small fangs can be seen developing.
In the anime
Zorua made an appearance in the Pokemon movie: Ruler of Illusions: Zoroark. He is looking for his companion and mother, Zoroark, but runs into Ash and his friends.

- Zorua was revealed by the March Coro Coro issue on February 10, 2010.
- Zorua is the third Pokémon to be a Fox Pokémon. (First Vulpix, then Ninetales).
- Zorua is the second Pokemon revealed for Generation V.
- Zorua's name may be derived from the Spanish word for fox, zorro.
