Zapdos is one of the three Legendary Birds that appeared in The Power of One.
Biography
With Moltres gone, Zapdos decides to claim the fire bird's island. Suddenly, Lawrence III arrives with his aircraft and begins draining Zapdos' power. Zapdos tries fighting back, but being so weakened it is quickly captured, joining Moltres as another one Lawrence's prisoners. It is eventually freed by Ash Ketchum and co., and along with Moltres, goes on a rampage, destroying the contraption that captured them, causing the aircraft to crash onto Lightning Island. It begins fighting Moltres and Articuno, wrecking the land around. Their fighting soon captures the attention of Lugia who tries to stop their fighting, but they begin attacking Lugia, temporarily taking it down. It later takes down Articuno with Moltres. After Ash retrieves all three spheres, each representing the element of the legendary birds, Melody plays the traditional song for the legendary birds, soothing the rage of Zapdos, Moltres and Articuno.
