The Yache Berry is a type of berry introduced in Generation IV which halves the effectivness of Ice-type moves when held. This item can be held by wild Starly with a 5% chance in Generation IV and Generation V and a 5% chance by Staravias in Generation IV.

In the Sinnoh region games, this item can be found by the Aroma Lady in Pastoria City sometimes when she gives the player one berry per day. In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, the player's mom may buy this item. This item is very rarely found on the Icy Mountain Rd. in the Pokéwalker.
