Rollat is a Psychic/ type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It is the Bat Pokemon. It has the abilities Unaware and Klutz. It can learn a new move called Heart Stamp, which can cause the opponent to flinch. It evolves through friendship.
Appearance
Rollat sports a pair of small, bat-like wings on each side of it's round, light blue body. In the center of it's face is a round pink nose. It only has one nostril, and it is roughly in the shape of a heart. It's mouth just has one large fang in the center.
In the anime
Jessie of Team Rocket in the Best Wishes anime was revealed to have obtained a Rollat in a cave and used it to defeat Squaby.
Trivia
- Rollat was one of the new Pokémon shown on a character sheet for the Black & White anime series on June 27, 2010, and received it name from a picture of Japanese show Oha Suta on July 5, 2010. Then it was officially revealed on the August's issue of Coro Coro along with six other Pokemon on July 11, 2010.
- Kurt in the 13th movie wears a baseball cap with a Rollat depicted on it.
- Rollat appears to be based on the Honduran white bat, an albino species of fruit bat.
- Koromori's name seems to come from koro-koro (the sound of something rolling) and komori ("bat"). It's English name, Rollat, is based on roll and bat
- In a video on September 1 2010, it shows that Koromori can be hatched from an Egg.
