Wish Park is a mysterious park in PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond alternate to the PokéPark. Existing in a separate world, Wish Park has many mysterious powers and can only be accessed through special poster portals. It is made up of four zones and the Wish Palace. Each of the four zones has a playable attraction and a special bell called a Wish Bell.

Origins[]

It is said that Wish Park and the PokéPark were once one world that split into two. The way for the two worlds to interact lies in strong wishes, that can cause portals between the worlds to open. Entrances can be opened in the same spot if the strong wishes remain and Pokémon from both parks used them to travel between the parks. Contact between the two worlds eventually ceased and Wish Park became nothing more than a legend. Even though travel between the two worlds was lost, certain Pokémon like Musharna and Gothitelle were able to visit Wish Park in their dreams. The two parks are said to have different flows of time, though Wish Park's time flow is regulated by the Wish Bells. If the bells were kept from ringing, gravity begins to fluctuate and distort, forming a massive black hole called the Dark Vortex that is capable of swallowing both the PokéPark and Wish Park.

Story[]

Being trapped in Wish Park and burdened with incredible loneliness, the Pokémon of Wish Park, led by Darkrai, concocted a scheme to kidnap and entrance Pokémon from the PokéPark so they would never leave. They stopped the Wish Bell's from ringing, thereby stopping time and causing Pokémon to become trapped in a trance of never ending play. To bring Pokémon to Wish Park, Gothita hires Krokorok and Sandile to bring Pokémon through the poster portal without telling them the whole story.

The Area Keeper of the Cove Area, Samurott, sent his assistant, Oshawott, to investigate the disappearances. Around the same time, Pikachu and Piplup discover the sinister plot taking place while in the Cake Zone when the visiting Pokémon falling into a trance where they cannot stop eating cake. The master of the Cake Zone, Cofagrigus, tries to put the two under a trance, but Oshawott comes to their rescue. However, Darkrai's arms appear and try to catch the three and manages to hold Piplup in Wish Park while Pikachu and Oshawott escape. Pikachu and Oshawott join forces and after learning how to open the poster portals from Krokorok and Sandile, return to the Cake Zone to free the entranced Pokémon. The two defeat Cofagrigus and ring the Wish Bell, freeing the Pokémon from the trance. However, Piplup is nowhere to be found and Cofagrigus taunts the two by revealing there are four zones in Wish Park before Gothorita teleports him and Gothita away.

During the attempt to kidnap Pokémon from the Arbor Area, the Wish Park crew tricks Zoroark into bringing Pokémon into the Dance Zone and when he learns of their true plan, brainwash him into being their servant. When Pikachu, Oshawott, Snivy, and Zorua enter the Dance Zone, they immediately face the controlled Zoroark and free from his brainwashing. The group then confronts and defeats the master of the Dance Zone, Chandelure, and ring the Wish Bell, freeing the Pokémon from the spell forcing them to dance nonstop. However, Gothitelle appears and prepares to dispose of the group, but she is thwarted by Zorua, Zoroark, and Piplup and teleports away. The group reunites with Piplup, who reveals he is staying in Wish Park to help warn visitors of the park's dangers.

The Wish Park crew then decides to try and recruit Pokémon for the Crag Area and hires Hydreigon and Haxorous to kidnap Victini and bring him to Wish Park in order to use his ability to strength Pokémon on Darkrai. Victini is kidnapped and taken to the Power Zone and the group follows them and discover kidnapped Pokémon are unable to stop brawling. The groups confronts Gothitelle, Hydreigon, and Haxorous and demand the return of Victini. Haxorus tries to get rid of the group, but is defeated and he and Hydreigon try to force Gothitelle to use Victini's power on them. Darkrai appears and instant defeats the two before tasking Gothitelle to deal with the group. Gothitelle agrees to release Victini and let the group use the Wish Bell if they beat the attraction. After the attraction is beaten, the Wish Bell is rung, freeing the entranced Pokémon and Victini is released. However, Gothitelle reveals Piplup is her captive and teleports away.
