This Pelipper is the second Pokémon Winona used during her gym battle with Ash Ketchum.

Biography

Pelipper is very strong and, during the battle, was able to use its Steel Wing to deflect electric type moves into the ground. Using this strategy, it endured Pikachu's electric attacks but when it launched a Hydro Pump the power of the attack forced it to rise off the ground slightly, allowing Pikachu to knock it out with Thunder. However Pelipper's Hydro Pump proved to be too much for Pikachu and both Pokémon fainted at the same time.
