Weepinbell (ウツドン Utsudon) is a Grass/Poison-type Pokémon. It can evolve from Bellsprout starting at level 21. It can evolve into Victreebel with the use of a Leaf Stone.
Appearance
Weepinbell is a plant Pokémon. It lacks legs, so it hovers in the air. The head of Weepinbell is yellow with three yellow-green spots on it. On the top of its head is a vine. It somewhat resembles a venus fly trap-like plant, just like Victreebel.
Special Abilities
All Weepinbell have the ability Chlorophyll. Chlorophyll increases Weepinbell's Speed when the sun is out. This Pokémon captures unwary prey by dousing them with a toxic powder.
Game Locations
To get one in Red, it has to be traded from either Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, or Crystal.
To get one in Blue, it can be found on routes 12, 13, 14, and 15.
To get one in Yellow, it can be found on routes 12, 13, 14, 15, and Cerulean Cave.
To get one in Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, and Colosseum, it has to be traded from LeafGreen and XD.
To get one in LeafGreen, it can be found on routes 12, 13, 14, 15, Berry Forest, Bond Bridge, Cape Brink, and Water Path.
To get one in XD, it has to snagged from Cipher Peon Angic in Cipher Key Lair.
To get one in Diamond and Pearl, it can be found on routes 224, 229, and 230.
To get one in Platinum, it can be found on routes 224 and 230.
Origins
Weepinbell is a portmenteau of "Weeping" and "Bell".
