The Weather Trio is a trio of Legendary Pokémon that originates in the Hoenn region and comprises Rayquaza, Groudon and Kyogre, each has an individual ability that allows them to control an aspect of the weather.[1] The only one to be dual type is the trio master Rayquaza, who is said to be the only one to be able to control the other two when they meet.
Prehistoric Forms
As of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Groudon and Kyogre have devolutions and they are known as Prehistoric Pokémon. Their method of devolution is known as Primal Reversion. Rayquaza doesn't have a Primal Forme, instead, it has a Mega Evolution Forme.
