This guide is created by Tetrix1993 and will be giving a brief walkthrough for the newest game - Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver. If you are first timer for this game, read the Introduction portion of this page first, before going into details.

Introduction
Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver is a remake for Pokémon Gold and Silver, with new additions on the Nintendo DS. For more details on the game, visit this page, Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.
When you first start the game, there will be instructions or help for the controls and information of the Pokemon. The top one is "Control Info", the second one is "Adventure Info". Select the last one 'No Info Needed' if you do not need any help to continue the game.
After reading through, click the third option and you will be woken by Professor Oak. He will tell you about the Pokémon in the world and the interactions with them. After that, he will ask for your gender. Select the correct gender by touching a boy (Ethan) or a girl (Lyra).
Okay, now give your character a name. For reference, I will name the boy "Gold".
After naming your character, Prof. Oak will talk a bit, then you shrink until you are at your very own house. Your adventure has now begun!
