Volkner's Luxray is a powerful Luxray that Volkner used during his battle against Ash.

Biography

Luxray first appeared in Volkner's first battle against Ash Ketchum as Volkner's first Pokémon. Luxray battled against Ash's Grotle until the battle was called off due to Team Rocket.

When Volkner battled against Ash in Ash's second gym battle, he used Luxray as his last Pokémon. Luxray first batted against Ash's Pikachu and Ash's Pikachu used Quick Attack. Luxray used Shock Wave to stop Pikachu from using Quick Attack which succeeded. Pikachu then used Iron Tail, successfully hitting Luxray multiple times. When Pikachu used Iron Tail once more, Luxray used Thunder Fang, biting Iron Tail, and sent Pikachu flying. Luxray then used Shock Wave once more, knocking Pikachu out.
