Trivia
- While it's similar to Weedle and Wurmple in nature, it doesn't evolve as fast as either of them, evolving at level 22 rather than level 7.
Origin
Venipede is based on a young centipede.
Etymology
Venipede's English name comes from the words "venom" and "centipede", a 100-legged arthropod.
