This week, new attraction on Global Link, US VGC dates, new gift on the Pokémon Bank and a new competition.

Global Link Attraction

A new attraction has gone live in the PokéMileage Club on the Global Link site.

It is called the PokéDoll Grabber, in which you use a crane and you have to pick up 5 PokéDolls. You have to get them to the top while dodging various platforms blocking your way.

This attraction costs 100 PokéMiles, per round and gives you one of 30 berries when you win, including Custap, Micle, Rowap and Jaboca Berries.

These berries were previously unavailable before Generation VI.


Bank – New Gift

It has been announced that the final-evolved forms of the Johto Starters, are to be distributed through the Pokémon Bank.

Players may acquire one of each starter, per Pokémon Bank.

They can be acquired from February 27th to November 30th.

ORAS – International Challenge 2015

The next Battle Competition has been revealed.

This competition is a Double Battle and the rules match the current set forth in the Video Game Championships of National Pokédex only without being able to use the standard range of Legendary Pokémon.

No entry gift has been detailed as of yet.

Registration: February 19th – 26th

Competition runs: February 27th – March 1st

This competition doesn’t give Championship Points for Play! Pokémon players.

VGC 2015 – Regionals

Dates and places for America’s regionals have been announced.

The regionals are at the following dates and places:

  • St. Louis, MO: February 14th - 15th at the St. Charles Convention Centre
  • Portland, OR: February 14th - 15th at the DoubleTree by Hilton
  • Doswell, VA: February 14th - 15th at the Exhibition Hall at the Meadow Event Park
  • Lancaster, CA: February 14th - 15th at the Pioneer Event Centre
  • Kissimmee, FL: February 28th - March 1st at the Park Inn by Radisson Resort & Conference Centre


New gift moves

Pikachu – What’s This Key?

In the US, The Pokémon Company has uploaded the special short, Pikachu – What’s This Key?

This short accompanied the recent movie that came out in Japan and features Pikachu, Klefki, Darkrai, Jirachi, Manaphy and Victini.

This is only available for a short time.
