It is the current home of the "People of the Vale". Long before the start of the series, the [[Kingdom of the Vale]] participated in a war which disrupted the [[Dragon Force]]. Because of this the King had to lift up the [[Sword of the Vale]] from its place, using the power of [[Victini]]. The sword was laid to rest atop a mountain which subsided the Dragon Force.
