[[Category:Fighting-type Pokémon]][[Category:Generation II Pokémon]] [[Category:Purple Pokémon]]Tyrogue (バルキー Barukī) is a Fighting-type Pokémon that can evolve into either Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, or Hitmontop depending on its stats when it is leveled up to level 20 or higher. It, Happiny, Pichu, ect, all had their evolution(s) (or at least one) revealed before they were.

Appearance

Tyrogue is small, bipedal, humanoid Pokemon. Its skin tone is purple in color with brown trunks and shoes. Its appearance is similar to that of someone wearing old football gear.

Special Abilities

Tyrogue is one of the Pokémon that has three or more choices of what it can evolve into. The most notable of these Pokémon is of course Eevee.

In Game

It evolves at level 20 into Hitmonlee if its Attack is greater than its Defense, Hitmonchan if its Defense is greater than its Attack, and Hitmontop if its Attack equals its Defense. The easiest way for a trainer to get a certain evolution of Tyrogue is to use vitamins, specifically Protein and Iron, to raise either the Attack or Defense stat and receive the desired Pokémon. Tyrogue was first introduced in the Pokémon Gold and Silver versions and is a Fighting type Pokémon. In HeartGold And SoulSilver, There is a Karate King in Mount Mortar that gives you a Tyrogue after winning at Ecruteak City and after beating him in a battle. Remember:Have an empty space in your party before challenging him. Strangely, Hitmontop can pass down Gyro Ball to Tyrogue by breeding.
