Trivia
- Tynamo and its evolutions are Electric-Type Pokémon with the ability Levitate, making them not have any type weaknesses.
- One can make Tynamo and its evolutions have weaknesses; by having the ability that negates their original ability, such as Mold Breaker or Mummy, or moves that negate their ability, such as Simple Beam or moves that ground them, such as Smack Down or Gravity.
- Tynamo's name backwards is Omanyte without the E at the end.
- In Black and White, Tynamo is the only Pokémon that you can find in Chargestone Cave that N doesn't use in his battle against you there.
Origin
Tynamo's appearance is most likely based on a baby leech or a baby electric eel.
Etymology
