Thunderwave Cave (Japanese:でんじはの どうくつ Electromagnetic Wave Cave) is the second dungeon in Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team. The dungeon is primarily inhabited by Electric-type Pokémon and contains five floors. There is no chance of finding a monster house, a shop, or a buried item in this dungeon.

Thunderwave Cave is the destination for the second plot-related mission. The heroes are required to enter and save two Magnemite who became stuck together when an electromagnetic wave passed through the dungeon. One of the Magnemite later becomes the party's third member.
