Hello! It's me, Jade, back again on the wiki after a bit of an inactivity period. Now, it is time for the fights.

The first place match is Lilligant & Hydreigon versus Steelix. Now Steelix has a very high defence so in theory should be able to withstand a lot of attacks. Because its type is Steel/Ground, Lilligant's grass-type moves aren't going to be very effective (X0.5 effectiveness). When we look at Hydreigon, it seems to be looking little better for the tag team because despite Hydreigon's dark-type moves being X0.5% effective, its ground-type moves are X2 against Steelix. Now we come onto Steelix's attacks. Its ground moves aren't going to be useful at all against this Generation V duo due to Hydreigon's ability: Levitate, and because they are only X0.5 effective against Lilligant. The only way Steelix could win this fight is by using continuously using Fire Fang on the weaker opponent (Lilligant in this case) and then try to deal with Hydreigon using DragonBreath which will do X2 damage to Hydreigon. Not many of Lilligant's moves can combat Steelix as they are mostly grass moves which Steelix will just shrug off. Hydreigon is the only one with any chance of defeating Steelix due to its wider range of attacks. It can't use any dragon-type moves though because Steelix will shrug those off too (being the damage soak that it is). Actually, all of Hydreigon's moves will only do X0.5 effectiveness against Steelix. The best Lilligant & Hydreigon can do is to avoid Fire Fang and DragonBreath and to try to use Steelix's very low speed to their advantage. Overall, my final opinion on this is that Steelix is a clear winner in terms of type advantage but its low speed could just give Lilligant & Hydreigon a chance for victory.

I'll be commentating on the next two matches soon.
