Teleport is a non-damaging move introduced in Generation I.
Effect
In battles with wild Pokémon, it is used to escape the battle. In battles with trainers, it always fails. Outside of battle, it can be used to teleport to the last Pokémon Center you visited. It is a Psychic type move. It is most commonly used by the Pokémon, Abra and its evolutions. In some cases, when the player character encounters an Abra in the wild, it will teleport out of a battle situation and end the fight.
