Team Rocket's Delibird is a ice/flying-type Pokémon owned by Team Rocket that collects past due fees from Jessie, James and Meowth.

Biography

Delibird first appeared in Dues and Don'ts under a scout's ownership. She and her Delibird were scouting for new members for Team Rocket and offered a membership to Jessie and James. After finding out they were kicked out for not paying past due fees, she allowed them to rejoin if they defeated a random trainer. Even after losing to a trainer, Ash, she allowed them back in, but only if Delibird could follow them and collect fees.

It later appeared in Xatu the Future to collect some money. Team Rocket promised to pay them back with the items from a town they were about to flood, but after the items were buried in dirt, it flew off.

It makes an appearance in Enlighten Up! looking for Team Rocket inside a temple.

Delibird appears in Can't Beat the Heat! to collect Team Rocket’s dues in the form of all of the money they stole. They say they don't have any money, but after it shows them the debt they owe, they state they have a plan to make all of the money its asking for. After taking the money, it seems that the trio's debt has been payed, as Delibird stops appearing to pick up dues after this point.

Delibird appears in Grating Spaces to deliver two Poké Balls containing a Charizard and an Aggron to Jessie and James. After they are defeated by Ash and Brock even with the powerful Pokémon, it reappears, taking the Poké balls and stating the Pokémon were mistakenly given to them.

In Thief That Keeps On Thieving, Jessie had Delibird deliver a Yanma to Giovanni. After receiving the Pokémon, he stated he just received a shipment of Yanma and had it returned to Jessie and James.

It made its last appearance in Memories Are Made of Bliss! to deliver new orders to Jessie, James and Meowth: they are promoted due to their "success" in defeating Team Galactic and Pokémon Hunter J and are to journey to Unova.
