Taunt is a Dark-type status move introduced in Generation III.

Description

The target is taunted into a rage that allows it to use only attack moves for three turns.

Effect

The Pokemon can only use attacking moves for the turns that Taunt is in effect. In Generation III, Taunt lasts 1 turn after its use. In Generation IV, the move lasts between 2 and 4 turns. In Generation V, it lasts 3.
