Last time I checked you cant buy or sell a slowpoke tail as they cost 1 pokedollar more that the maximum limit.

You are partly right. In Generation II you can buy them, but only after the price is lowered. In Generation IV, the price does not go any lower than 1,000,000 and you can't buy them. Crimsonnavy (Talk·Contributions·Blog)
