given the fact that its a fire type starter pokemon....wouldn't its ability be blaze??.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Caseather (talkcontribs)

Not all fire type Pokémon have the ability Blaze. Numel, for example, has the ability Oblivious and Ninetails has the ability Flash Fire. Rainbow Shifter 07:53, February 2, 2013 (UTC)
fire type STARTER pokemon....charmander, cyndiquil, torchic, chimchar and tepig, and all of their evolutions have the blaze ability....     Caseather (talk) 19:38, February 2, 2013 (UTC)
I'm speculating that they would change the ability of Fennekin, rather than Blaze. --Blank stares at blank pages, no easy way to say this. 07:09, February 3, 2013 (UTC)

Fennekin, Dog Zodiac?

I keep seeing that Fennekin wouldn't represent any chinese zodiac, but wouldn't dog fit in? Or since it is a fox it has no relation to dog at all? GameBoy14 (talk) 07:26, February 2, 2013 (UTC)

Dogs, Wolfs, Jackals, Foxes, Coyotes all belongs to the Canidae family. Not because a fox belongs to the Canidae family he should represent a dog. A fox is much more different than a dog and a fox is not part of the Chinese zodiac and cannot easily be part in it because he is a family of the Canidae family, then we can say that Vulpix or Ninetales is also part of the Chinese zodiac because the two are foxes but they are from the Canidae family so they are dogs, that is not they way it works. Fennekin is a fox and he is not a part of the Chinese Zodiac because he is not a dog. Regards, KidProdigy (Local UserpageLocal Talk) 07:45, February 2, 2013 (UTC)
