Anime Appearances
A flock of Swoobat appeared in BW027 when Iris was trying to catch Emolga. They had very noisy sound waves and were using Round to do widespread damage.
Appearance
Swoobat is similar to its pre-evolution form, Woobat, except Swoobat has a head. It sports just a slightly larger pair of wings and they share a heart-shaped nostril on their noses. However, Swoobat is a much darker shade of blue and has a clear pair of eyes, fused-together ears, and legs. It also has a strangely shaped tail and tuft of white fur around its neck. Whenever it flies, its legs are tucked under its body and only its feet are shown.
Evolution
Swoobat is the evolved form of Woobat, by evolving while it has Max Hapiness.

Trivia
- Swoobat's English name is based on the English expression "to swoon"; that is, to being overwhelmed by an emotion.
- Swoobat's Japanese name is a combination of the Japanese words Koroko (Heart) and Koromori (Bat)
- Woobat and Swoobat are the only Unova Pokémon that have only two Pokémon in their evolutionary line, and evolve by happiness, not level up or trade.
