Swanna is a Water/-type Pokemon that is classified as the Swan Pokemon. It is a Generation V Pokemon that will appear in Pokemon Black and White. It has the ability Keen Eye and the new one Pigeon Heart. It has a new attack called Windstorm which changes in accuracy depending on the weather.
Appearance
Swanna is a swan-like Pokemon with primarily white plumage. Its beak is long and yellow, topped with a black cere, with several white-colored feathery features adorning its head. The more rounded of the features are to the sides of its head, and the more pointed feature is atop. As distinctive among swans, Swanna possesses a long, curving neck. Two light-blue feathery features, like those on the sides of Swana's head, are present on Swanna's underside, and Swana's large wings are positioned in a way unconventional for birds. Swana's legs are small, and its webbed feet dark in coloration. It's white unlike it's prevolved form.

- Swanna was first seen in a video shown after Oha Suta on July 31st 2010 for the Pokémon Musicals, again when its art leaked on Yahoo's Pokémon website, and finally in the September issue of CoroCoro on August 8, 2010.
- Swanna is based on a swan.
- Swanna is the third bird Pokémon to have the Water/-typing. The other two being Wingull and Pelipper.
- It is possibly based on a Trumpeter Swan, as seen by the trumpet it held in a trailer about Pokemon Musicals.
- It is also possibly based on odette from Swan Lake the ballet.
