Sudowoodo is a
Rock-type Pokémon. However, it looks and lives more like a
Grass-type. This is a form of adaptive mimicry; Sudowoodo camouflages itself as a tree to avoid being attacked by enemies. However, because its forelimbs remain green throughout the year, it is easily identified as a fake during the winter...except, of course, in areas of evergreen forest. Another hole in its disguise is that it hates water and will disappear if it starts raining. It has the
Rock Head and
Sturdy Abilities; its moves may include
Wood Hammer,
Hammer Arm,
Rock Slide,
Stone Edge,
Ice Punch,
Thunderpunch,
Faint Attack,
Double-Edge, and (appropriately enough)
Mimic. It evolves from
Bonsly at the latter's next level-up after learning
Mimic.Brock has a Sudowoodo that evolved from his Bonsly in
