Spenser's Claydol is a Ground/Psychic-type Pokémon and is Spenser's strongest Pokémon.
Biography
Scott claimed that Claydol made Spenser's Venusaur to be tame. When Spenser battled Ash, Claydol was the last Pokémon he used. By using Teleport to avoid its opponent's attacks before striking back, Claydol easily defeated Ash's Swellow and very nearly won against Sceptile but Sceptile learned SolarBeam during the battle. While Sceptile was charging its SolarBeam, Claydol attempted to finish it with Hyper Beam but Sceptile dodged the attack at the last moment and then launched its SolarBeam at Claydol, who was recharging from the Hyper Beam and therefore unable to use Teleport, defeating it.

Trivia
- Claydol's use of Sandstorm was never actually mentioned, but Claydol whipped up two Sandstorms whilst fighting Swellow and Sceptile, although apparently these Sandstorms were caused by the speed of Claydol's Rapid Spin.
