Skier is a type of Trainer Class that appears in the Pokémon games. They were first introduced in the Generation II games and at the time, appeared as exclusively female characters. However, male Skiers later appeared in the Generation IV based in the Sinnoh region, while the skiers in the Johto region remain exclusively female. They specialize in Ice-type Pokémon

Trivia

When first introduced, the Skiers were only female and were considered the female counterpart to the Boarders. However, this changed in later games.
