Simple Beam is a Normal-type move that was introduced in Generation V. When used, it changes the target's ability to the Simple Ability.
Trivia
- With Simple Beam, it is possible to max out the Special Attack stat without using Belly Drum. In a Triple Battle, one Pokémon uses Wide Guard, one Pokémon uses Simple Beam, and the other uses Tail Glow. Then the Pokémon that has it's stat maximized can Baton Pass to a sweeper.
