Simple (Japanese: たんじゅん Simple) is an ability introduced in Generation IV. This ability causes all effects of stat changing moves to be doubled. For example, the move Amnesia will raise the Sp.Def stat four stages instead of two if used by a pokemon with this ability. Three Pokémon have this ability, all of them in the Ground Egg Group.
