Silent Chasm (Japanese: ちんもくの　たに Silent Valley) is the fifth dungeon in Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team. There is no chance of finding a Monster House, a Kecleon Shop, or a buried item in this dungeon.

Plot

The first initial mission requires the rescue of Jumpluff, as well as Shiftry's rescue team. At the end of the dungeon on the first visit, the player encounters Zapdos, who takes Shiftry hostage to Mt. Thunder.
