Shadow Blitz is one of the many Shadow moves in the game Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. Like all other Shadow-type moves, when the Pokémon knowing Shadow Blitz is purified, it will change its move into a different one.

It attacks and has effects in a similar manner that Tackle or Pound has and despite its name, it has no special effects. Many Shadow Pokémon know this move as their first move. Like all other Shadow Pokémon and moves, they cannot be traded to the main Generation III games and therefore, it is not used as a move in the games.
