In the Super Smash Bros. series Pokémon appear in battles as items in the form of pokeballs. In S.S.B.B. (Brawl) Eelectrode will use self-destruct. Electrode's body will have start becoming red indicating it's about to blow, however it can only be picked up when it's about to explode meaning it is hard to throw it. Sometimes it wil even short-circuit, making steam come from it, after this it wil start again and explode much faster.
