Self-Destruct, formerly known as Selfdestruct prior to Generation VI, is a Normal-type move introduced in Generation I. Pokémon that can learn this booming move are Geodude, Graveler, Golem, Voltorb, Electrode, Koffing, Weezing, Pineco, Forretress, Baltoy, Claydol and Mew.
It has a more powerful version called Explosion.
In Battle
As the name states, the user explodes, causing he/she to faint. This attack can cause massive amounts of damage to every other Pokémon on the field.
Only Ghost-type Pokémon are immune to the move.
If player receives the Winner's Path for the Pokewalker in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, he can find a Munchlax that knows Selfdestruct.
