[[Category:Water-type Pokémon]][[Category:Generation V Pokémon]]Samurott is a Water-type Pokemon that was introduced in the Fifth Generation games Pokemon Black and White. It is classified as the Dignity Pokemon. It evolves from Dewott at level 36 and the final evolution of Oshawott. It has the ability Torrent, like every other water type starter Pokemon.

Appearance

Samurott has a pointed nose, with large mustache/goatee-like growths protruding from it (these may be a

reference to the stereotypical image of a samurai). On the back of it's head, Samurott has a large conch shell with a very long point with two spikes on it. It has a gray belly, and four legs with shells divided into threes on them. It's tail makes a heart-looking shape with a chunk of it's shell in the middle that makes it look like a deformed oval. Its behavior includes that it can silence opponents by glaring at them. It can also terrify opponents by howling, which can be heard for miles. Unlike Oshawott and Dewott, Samurott can walk on all fours or presumably two as the shells on its forelegs are sheathes for two large swords ( supported by the fact that it has thumbs) . Samurott's shells arrangements are somewhat based on samurai armor.
