This Metapod belongs to Samurai and he used it against Ash's Metapod. The battle was rather pointless as both Pokémon only knew Harden. As both of them tried to max out their Defense, Misty was sunbathing with Pikachu. Eventally both trainers got tired and collapsed. When a herd of Beedrill came toward Ash's direction, Samurai called back his Metapod with the battle undecided.
