Sabrina owned an Alakazam in all main Pokémon games. It debuted in Pokémon Red and Green, being at Lv. 43 and knowing Psybeam, Psywave, Recover and Disable.

When Red left the Celadon Gym, Sabrina and Kadabra watched them before being teleported. Later, Sabrina had Alakazam look like Prof. Oak and attack Red, who figured out it was a fraud. Sabrina vanished to Silph Co. after the battle. When Green came to Silph Co., Sabrina's Kadabra deceived Green and attacked her Blasty, who was actually Ditty, transformed, while Green used Horsea to use Smokescreen. Sabrina revealed her psychic powers, for she saw through the Smokescreen, though she and Kadabra were soon defeated by Jiggly and Cleffy's Sing and Growl sounds.

When Yellow, Bill and Green came to Cerise Island, they encountered the Team Rocket admin triad, with Sabrina's Kadabra revealed to have evolved into Alakazam.
