Its evolved form is Braviary, which it evolves into it at level 54. Rufflet is modeled after a baby eagle, and is always male.
Appearance
Rufflet is a small shaggy bird. He has quite a big head size than his body. The head has shaggy creamy coloured outer fur. His inner part of the head is blue, with a red spike at the top. He has sharp, black eyes, with white pupils. His neck fur is like a creamy, wooly scarf and his wing and its little body are a lovely blue. He has fairly big size feet, like any other bird.

Origin
Its Japanese name 'Washibon' is possibly derived from 'Washi' meaning eagle in Japanese, or the Filipino word 'ibon' meaning bird. In addition it sounds phonetically similar to 'Washington'.
