Trivia
- Roxanne's name is a play on the word Rock, since she is a Rock-Type trainer. Brock and Roark may also share this pun. (Brock: take away the B, leaving rock, and Roark: take away the 'a' and the second 'r' and you get Rok, which can be translated to "rock".)
- Roxanne is the only female Gym Leader that specializes in Rock-type Pokémon.
- Her attire from Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire is almost completely the same from the Generation III games and Pokémon Black 2 & White 2 sprite except that she wears it black instead of blue.
