A Roughneck is a type of Trainer Class. They are young bald men who appear to be thugs. They are called Cue Balls in Generation I and III and are similar to Bikers. Some Roughnecks and Bikers come together to form a tag-battling pair known as the Hooligans.

Trivia

  • In Generation III, they are shown to be riding motorcycles.
  • In the Japanese version, Roughnecks were called Skinheads. This was changed to Roughneck for religious reasons.
