Ransei (Japanese: ランセ地方 Ranse-chihō) is the name of the region that Pokémon Conquest's storyline is situated in. It is said to be similar to feudal Japan. There are 17 castles in the region, each with a leader that must be defeated to conquer the castle. In the Ransei region they call these leaders warlords.
