The Rainbow Wing is a key item given to you by the director of the Goldenrod Radio Tower after saving him from Team Rocket or an old man in Pewter City near Route 3 in the Kanto region. It enables the carrier to encounter Ho-oh in the Tin Tower or Bell Tower. In Pokémon HeartGold, the player must also have received the Clear Bell from the Kimono Girls. If you do not have these items, you will not be able to see Ho-oh. It is closely related to the Silver Wing, thus their appearances are similar. In Pokémon Gold and Silver, you cannot use codes to make one because the man won't move even though you have one.
