After jumping into the quicksand at the end of Northern Desert, you enter Quicksand Cave. After completing 10 floors of Quicksand Cave you arrive at a rest area before entering Quicksand Pit. After going through 10 more floors of Quicksand Pit you will fight Mespirit at the Underground Lake.
