Primal Reversion is the devolution of the Pokémon series. It is similar to Mega Pokemon, except the Pokémon devolving back into it's ancient and original form. It was first revealed at the boxarts of Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. More info was given in June Corocoro leaks.

It is a possible new game mechanic introduced in Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time, Darkness and Sky, it is a Corrupted form.
