Poochyena (ポチエナ Pochiena) is a Dark-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It can evolve into Mightyena starting at level 18.

Poochyena is a dog pokemon. It has grayish-blackish fur and, if it is Team Aqua's Poochyena, has a robotic appearance and sharp fangs. Shiny Poochyenas are brown in color.

The most famous owner of the Poochyena is Team Aqua. Team Aqua's mission is to flood the lands to make room for water-type Pokemon. Their arch-rival, Team Magma, wants to dry up the oceans to make way for more land-based Pokemon.

Poochyena evolves into Mightyena at level 18, which does not have an evolved form.
