A Pokemon egg is what Pokemon hatch from. Pokemon eggs can be made on breeding house or received from NPC's.

To make an egg you must need two Pokémons of the same egg group (one male and one female). The non-sex Pokémon also can make eggs if deposited with a Ditto. Also, exist Pokémons that cannot make eggs, even with Ditto (as Mewtwo, Celebi, Deoxys...). The Pokémon that will hatch will be the first evolution of the deposited female. It will hatch at level 5 in Gold/Silver/Crystal/Ruby/Sapphyre/FireRed/LeafGreen/Emerald and level 1 in Diamond/Pearl.Ryudoh 05:18, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
