This is the page where users can request Administrator and Rollback rights and vote on other users who are requesting rights. Please read the following regulations and instructions completely before voting or placing a request.

In the event that an Administrator or Rollback is being unruly or breaking the rules, a request for their demotion may be placed below in the Requests for demotion header. The same voting rules apply for this as well. The vote totals required for their demotion remain the same as those for promotions as well.

When you add a comment or a vote, please do not use word bubbles, as the numbering will get messed up. If word bubbles are used, it will have the template coding removed to regular coding and the unsigned template will be used in place of a signature.

Rules and Regulations

Upon your request, it will be discussed among community members for a period of two weeks.** After the time has expired, the user's request will be reviewed and a discussion may be held between all active administrators. If the request is denied, you are prohibited from requesting adminship or rollback rights for thirty days.* And remember, when voting or requesting rights, your signature must have a link to your userpage and talkpage.

Requirements for Requesting Rights

  1. You should not have a ban history.*
  2. You should not be be less than a month old.
  3. You must edit mainspace regularly.
  4. You may self-nominate, but do so with discretion.
  5. You must add an explanation of why you deserve administrative or rollback rights.

Requirements for Voting

  1. You must be over two weeks old on the wiki.
  2. You must provide a reason for your vote.
  3. You must not have a ban history on the wiki.
  4. Your vote must not be biased.*
  5. You must have over 100 mainspace edits.

Requirements for Rollback

  1. You must be at least one month old on the wiki.
  2. You must have at least 400 mainspace edits.
  3. You must not have a ban history.*
  4. You must gain +3 votes in your favour by the end of the request.

Requirements for Administrator

  1. You must be at least four months old on the wiki.
  2. You must have rollback rights before requesting administrator rights.
  3. You must have at least 500 mainspace edits.
  4. You must not have a ban history.*
  5. You must gain +4 votes in your favour by the end of the request.

Voting

When voting, remember:

  • Supports count as +1
  • Neutrals count as 0
  • Opposes count as -1

After a month of using roll back tools, I have to say a lot of vandalism has been reverted. I am writing this request because it is out of my power to delete some non-sense pages. I fear that the vandals that are here plan more and more things. I am asking the community to give me those tools for dealing with vandals and to do some other things, like renaming this.

Neutral Neutral: I have a few reasons as to why I'm voting neutral your request. You do a great job in tagging unneeded pages for deletion, but when you tag pages for deletion you don't normally give a reason as to why it should be deleted. Yes, the reason it normally needs to be deleted is because 9 out of 10 times it is obvious spam or vandalism. It's common practice to remove the content of the page when marking a page for deletion, it doesn't need to be done, but it's recommended since the content can be vulgar and/or explicit content that nobody really needs to read. It's in italics because it's not something that is influencing my vote, just a recommendation for the future. I don't really see much interaction between you and the community, granted, there isn't much opportunity to do so since there aren't many people consistently editing and I personally am trying to turn things around on the wiki, but I have school and am incredibly lazy. So those opportunities that I have in mind for community interactions aren't in existence yet. I really don't want to get on your case about the messages you do send because on your userpage you have the "User en-3" userbox, which, in most cases, means that English is not your native language. Your warning-like messages, as seen here aren't that descriptive and in some cases can be worded better. Edit summaries such as this one here can be viewed as "feeding the trolls", my personal view on removing spam-like edits from pages is to just not leave an edit summary. Revert and ignore is my motto. The following talk page messages: 1, 2, 3, and 4, as well as 5, 6, 7, and 8 can all be viewed as spam-like. I understand that you want to bring more users to edit here, and in the case of your request you want it to be noticed and voted upon, but messaging multiple people for those cases is viewed as spam-like and shouldn't really be done. I really do not like voting neutral on requests, since neutrals are useless and I feel you might as well not vote if voting neutral, but I do not want to oppose because I do have hope in you becoming an administrator in the future, and I'm not ready to support you just yet.
