Pokémon Wiki:Requests for User Rights

This is the page where users can request Administrator and Rollback rights and vote on other users who are requesting rights. Please read the following regulations and instructions completely before voting or placing a request.

In the event that an Administrator or Rollback is being unruly or breaking the rules, a request for their demotion may be placed below in the Requests for demotion header. The same voting rules apply for this as well. The vote totals required for their demotion remain the same as those for promotions as well.

When you add a comment or a vote, please do not use word bubbles, as the numbering will get messed up. If word bubbles are used, it will have the template coding removed to regular coding and the unsigned template will be used in place of a signature.

Rules and Regulations

Upon your request, it will be discussed among community members for a period of two weeks.** After the time has expired, the user's request will be reviewed and a discussion may be held between all active administrators. If the request is denied, you are prohibited from requesting adminship or rollback rights for thirty days.* And remember, when voting or requesting rights, your signature must have a link to your userpage and talkpage.

Requirements for Requesting Rights

1. You should not have a ban history.*
2. You should not be less than a month old.
3. You must edit mainspace regularly.
4. You may self-nominate, but do so with discretion.
5. You must add an explanation of why you deserve administrative or rollback rights.

Requirements for Voting

1. You must be over two weeks old on the wiki.
2. You must provide a reason for your vote.
3. You must not have a ban history on the wiki.
4. Your vote must not be biased.*
5. You must have over 100 mainspace edits.

Requirements for Rollback

1. You must be at least one month old on the wiki.
2. You must have at least 400 mainspace edits.
3. You must not have a ban history.*
4. You must gain +3 votes in your favour by the end of the request.

Requirements for Administrator

1. You must be at least four months old on the wiki.
2. You must have rollback rights before requesting administrator rights.
3. You must have at least 500 mainspace edits.
4. You must not have a ban history.*
5. You must gain +4 votes in your favour by the end of the request.

Voting

When voting, remember:

• Supports count as +1
• Neutrals count as 0
• Opposes count as -1

Well, I have reverted so many bad edits from bad users and vandals after I became a rollbacker and tagged so many unneeded pages for deletions before the admins like Energy X and Shockstorm deleted them! I'm an admin on Pokémon Answers Wiki and I wish that I should become an admin to this wiki too, sigh :(. I want to delete some unneeded pages, renaming some images with bad file names and also I wanted to block some bad users. I would be happy if you support me, guys! Do you think that I would be a good admin? Sigh :(!

Support

Support: Well, you have done many things, from manga, anime and games sections. Considering activity will rise (or at least should) when ORAS comes out, we could use another admin. The only thing I should add that users need to be warned when doing something wrong (like inserting wrong image names or making some mistakes). Energy X 14:09, November 13, 2014 (UTC)

Support: Based on some researching on your edits, your talk page and conduct on other's talk pages, I'd say that you'll do fine. You'll need to make sure that you can handle pressure and internet "drama" though. Please make sure to keep in mind that when you're an admin, that you reflect the wiki with your actions, on this wiki and on other wikis. It will be nice to have another admin along. If you would like a walkthrough of any of the tools that administrators get, just let me know and I'll explain them. Comment: Nectaria regularly uses edit summaries to explain why she's undoing an edit that has false/bad info. And in the case of vandals, she usually contacts me or Energy X to deal with them, so there's no need for her to warn them (warning vandals doesn't really work since vandals have almost always already made up their mind to vandalize. Asking them to stop usually doesn't help). Also, if she did block someone who didn't deserve a block, another admin could just unblock them.
