Pokémon Puzzle League is a Pokémon game on the Nintendo 64. It includes fire, grass, water, psychic, and thunder as mini blocks. This is the only Pokémon game not released in Japan. This game takes place after the Orange Island arc.
The object of the game is to arrange your blocks into pairs of 3, 4, 5, or 6 to clear the stage. You can choose a variety of characters and Pokémon to play with. If you play 2 player, the opponent can send sticks of the type they have, (example: fire) and that stalls you from clearing the stage, unless you have a combo that breaks it into blocks.
Trivia[]
- This game features the voice cast of Pokémon: Indigo League, Pokémon The First Movie - Mewtwo Strikes Back and Pokémon: Adventures on the Orange Islands.
- The game takes mechanics directly from Panel de Pon, another Nintendo game series that has had several non-Pokémon related releases in North America, including Tetris Attack for the SNES.
- The Game was meant to be a Port of Panel de Pon for the N64, However the Pitch was changed to Pokémon Puzzle League.
