Pokémon, known in Japan as '''Pocket Monsters''' (Japanese: ポケットモンスター Poketto Monsutā), is one of the first Pokémon manga to come out in Japan and ran for 63 volumes. In Singapore it is published by Chuang Yi in English.[1] While the first series is set in Kanto, and then Johto, new series are released based on Hoenn, SinnohUnova and Kalos. The author is Kosaku Anakubo.

Pocket Monsters DP (Japanese: ポケットモンスターD・P(ダイヤモンド・パール Pocket Monsters D・P (Diamond and Pearl)) is the second sequel, its setting is in Sinnoh.

Pokémon Pocket Monsters HGSS

Pokémon Pocket Monsters HGSS (Japanese: ポケットモンスターHGSS) is the third sequel, its setting is in Johto.

Pocket Monsters BW

Pocket Monsters BW (Japanese: ポケットモンスターBW) is the fourth sequel, its setting is in Unova.

Pocket Monsters XY

Pocket Monsters XY (Japanese: ポケットモンスターXY) is the fifth sequel, its setting is in Kalos.
