Pokedollar

Pokémon Dollars (also known as Pokédollars, Pokéyen, Pocket Money, Prize Money, or Poké) are the currency of money in the Pokémon world. The sign for a Pokédollar is simply the letter "P" with two lines through it (Pokedollar). They are much like the Japanese Yen symbol, save for the "Y". Pokédollars can be obtained by defeating other trainers or by selling items. Much like regular currency, it allows you to buy items, such as Potions or Parlyz Heal. It was introduced in Generation I. The exchange rate is roughly $1 USD = Pokedollar127.27.
